Pro Bono is emerging in Ukraine and, thanks to the summit, was the first manifestation of the Pro Bono movement in that country. In the words of Olena Shershun, manager of the summit, “the idea behind the summit was more than just bringing together companies and practitioners of competence-based volunteering. It should show everything that goes beyond a simple act of volunteering or support: benefits for society, for the company in terms of ROI and for each individual”.
With 100 participants, 71% of whom came from companies and 18 panellists from different European countries, the Summit had the honour of working with Jörg Bauer as a panellist, who gave a great speech about how pro bono really makes a difference in corporate culture.
