The Global Pro Bono Summit 2023 will finally return to presence in Tokoyo, Japan after a three-year hiatus, attracting CSR and HR leaders, foundations, government officials and pro bono movement leaders from over 30 countries.
Offering opportunities for pro bono work helps commercial law firms sharpen their legal skills by providing ways for lawyers to engage with their wider communities. At some firms, consistent participation in volunteering can be a significant, though not decisive, factor in deciding who wins a promotion.
Esther along with András (OKA) and Tatiana (Pro Bono Lab), presented the achievements on the Multinational Pro Bono Programme, which was launched at the 5th Global Pro Bono Summit held in Lisbon in 2017, and it is still supervised and supported by AMAIDI. The 2017 Global Pro Bono Summit was held in Lisbon, Portugal and draw CSR, HR leaders, foundations, government representatives and pro bono movement leaders from over 30 countries. The Summit challenges pro bono movement leaders to identify ways to increase their impact and hold each other accountable to delivering and facilitating pro bono work that drives social change.
