This Kindergarten is located on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, next to an old landfill site.With the help of the donations, 3 classrooms and a playground for the kids were built to be in a safe place to play, eat, share and start their initial education. About 60 children in the age 3-5 attend everyday while their parents are working. The kindergarten is an educational center where the kids can develop both intellectually and emotionally. There is one professional teacher who trains the mothers and volunteers to carry on with the educational activities. The children also get breakfast and a warm lunch every day, and participate in different activities: artistic, music and sports.The breakfast and the afternoon snacks are fundamental for the children to get energy, as they do not always eat well at home. Besides the activities it is important that the children learn how to work as a group learn respect and solidarity. For the minimum time of 4 weeks, they are looking for Volunteers to assist teachers in Kindergarten (age 3-5 years).

TASKS
- Help the two teachers cook and serve the food, do the dishes, the cleaning or any other tasks there are to be done
- Interact with the children through games, songs, drawings and workshops.
- Help take care of the children.
- Help to plan the activities in the kindergarten.
- Maintain personal contact and be a role model for the kids.

Accommodation on arrival: ACCOMMODATION FOR VOLUNTEERS
Located in the heart of Buenos Aires, 4 blocks from the famous Plaza de Congreso.
Transportation located 20 meters from Line A subway, which will take you all the way to Plaza de Mayo.
Comfortable rooms, single or shared. Full-equipped kitchen and living room, Internet (including computers and WiFi).

Project is closed during summer holidays (mid December to mid February) and winter holidays (last 2 weeks of July).

We organize social activities with volunteers and projects every month, i.e.: visits to museums, football matches, pick nicks, open debates, etc.

Guidance: There is one coordinator at the project and a general coordinator for all volunteers. However, we expect the volunteer to have a proactive and determined attitude of the volunteer is extremely important.
It is always very helpful when volunteers find their own way to help in the communities, so that coordinators instead of “training them” can use that time to accomplish pending tasks they might have.

Reporting
At regular intervals, we as well as the project partners expect a short documentation of your project results and progress.
Evaluation
At the end of the project a feedback round takes place and the project work will be evaluated together with all participants.

After successful implementation of the project, you will receive a qualified letter of reference.
