The Non-Profit Organization has established and diversified the school from Nursery level to Public School up to class VII. They concentrate on affordable rural education to children in the age range of 3-15 years. To provide further progressive education to the rural children, they are in need of volunteering activities for betterment of students’ English fluency along with languages such as German, French, Arabic, etc., and extracurricular activities such as music, art, dance, art, sports, etc. Overall socio-economic progress of the children will ensure the development of the Rural community. For the minimum time of 12 weeks, we are looking for Volunteers for Educational Projects in a Rural School.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in school education projects is requested
- Experience in the field of Education, Curriculum & Teaching or Sport & Recreation with children is desireable.
- Positive Attitude in child development
- Prime health condition
- Fluent in at least one of this languages: English, German, French or Arabic
- Clean Police Background Check (PBC)

Long Term aim (desired impact):
The students will have an opportunity to expose themselves to various forms of educational activities along with a sense of passion and entertainment. This boasts the self confidence of the students thereby improving leadership skills. The students will also bestow a devoted interest to participate in competitions and achieve high technical recognition. Overall socio-economic progress of the children will ensure the development of the Rural community.
Short Term aim (desired output for the individual volunteer coming):
The attendance and day to day activities of students are to be monitored frequently which might help in reducing school drop-outs. Concentrated care in certain areas like art, music, dance, skating, karate, etc., is required so as to achieve a progress to at least 75% of the students. Specialized training for sports activities is expected to boast the skill set of at least 75% of the students and at least 25% of them will be able to compete effectively at Inter-School Competitions. The short-term expectancy of the entire project is to transform the educational standards of the rural students to that of the urban students.

The volunteers will have an annual leave of around 30 to 40 days during April – May. During this period the volunteers can participate in NGO Activities such as Women Empowerment, Tribal Development, Environmental Projects etc.

Tour to Kodaikanal – Hill Resort in the Western Ghats, Tamilnadu
Visit to Temple of Rich culture and Heritage in Tamilnadu
Visit to Places of Tourist Attractions
If needed any other place of the volunteers interest
Cost per person – Approximately 200 to 300 Euro per person.

Volunteers are expected to be a part of the project for atleast 3 months.

Your application documents will be presented to the project partner.
Successful Placement
If the project partner decides for you, he documents this on the so-called Confirmation of Assignment (COA).
This is an indication for us that the pure mediation process is completed here and we can start with the preparation.
Preparation
You will be prepared individually according to your previous knowledge.
Project Work
Reporting
At regular intervals, we as well as the project partners expect a short documentation of your project results and progress.
Evaluation
At the end of the project a feedback round takes place and the project work will be evaluated together with all participants.
Qualified Letter of Reference
After successful implementation of the project, you will receive a qualified letter of reference.
