For example, there are special guidelines on sponsoring, advertising, donations and patronage gifts in the public sector. This is also known in public procurement law as the &ldquo;project engineer problem&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>It should also be mentioned here:<\/strong> The BDU considers the regulations under public procurement law with the aim of appropriate competition to be an extremely important element of the economic order. Direct commissioning of individual management consultancies without consideration of competing offers is thus largely excluded and functioning competition is guaranteed. In Germany in particular, there are a large number of management consultancies specializing in the public sector. For the Fachverband &Ouml;ffentlicher Sektor, it is therefore clear that for any task, no matter how complex, several consulting firms can always be considered. In view of the special public interest and the peculiarities of the political sector, it is advisable for consulting firms to design and communicate assignments in the public sector in a very transparent and comprehensible manner.
