It responds to individual and social challenges and sees itself as a complement to government action.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/amaidi.org\/en\/glossar\/civic-engagement\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>civic engagement<\/a> with my Dr. J&uuml;rgen Rembold Foundation. The non-profit foundation based in R&ouml;srath (Germany) wants to encourage citizens to take responsibility for the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-8 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>It is not only since Corona that we have known that voluntary work is a supporting element in our society.<\/p>\n<p>With the foundation I would like to encourage people and initiatives to become actively involved and take responsibility. The clearly defined purpose of the foundation allows for a variety of foundation activities. Projects and initiatives from a wide range of areas are supported, such as art and culture, education and training, youth and elderly care, science and research, and environmental and nature conservation.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation&rsquo;s work is a very personal topic for me. I take a lot of time to select projects and have never regretted an investment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-4 wpb_column vc_column_container has_text_color has_bg_color has-link\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner us_custom_d3e8f473\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>We support your projects!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are happy to receive creative suggestions and are happy to help if your project or that of an acquaintance or circle of friends fits in with our foundation! The promise to support the &ldquo;Marktplatz Gute Gesch&auml;fte&rdquo; as main sponsor was therefore quickly given. Last year&rsquo;s kick-off event was of great importance for the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. It builds a bridge between companies and civil society and can thus lead to more civic involvement overall.<\/p>\n<p>As a personal fan of competitions, I have agreed to award prizes to the most fruitful and sustainable cooperation as an incentive.
