In the words of Olena Shershun, manager of the summit, &ldquo;the idea behind the summit was more than just bringing together companies and practitioners of competence-based volunteering. It should show everything that goes beyond a simple act of volunteering or support: benefits for society, for the company in terms of ROI and for each individual&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>With 100 participants, 71% of whom came from companies and 18 panellists from different European countries, the Summit had the honour of working with J&ouml;rg Bauer as a panellist, who gave a great speech about how <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Pro bono&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Pro Bono is an instrument to get professionals and leaders involved in voluntary engagement.
