Global Pro Bono Summit (#GPBS17) in Lissabon

The 2017 Global Pro Bono Summit will be held in Lisbon, Portugal from 7th to 10th March and draw CSR, HR leaders, foundations, government representatives and pro bono movement leaders from over 30 countries. The Summit challenges pro bono movement leaders to identify ways to increase their impact and hold each other accountable to delivering and facilitating pro bono work that drives social change. The summit this year will be hosted by Social Entrepreneurs Agency .

Since 2013, the Taproot Foundation and BMW Foundation have convened the leaders of the pro bono movement to share challenges and best practices among peers. The summit format and location change each year to accommodate the varied needs of attendees.

Participants include Global Pro Bono Network Members who are pro bono providers (“intermediaries”) belonging to the Global Pro Bono Network and corporate, foundation, and government leaders in pro bono programming. Participants seek to collaborate with their peers and partners, share their knowledge of pro bono and their sector to create strategies that provide high-quality, high-impact pro bono services to address larger global challenges. Ideas and topics that surface during the course of these three days aim to transform into actionable commitments for the coming year.
